Sandy Ralya: Christian Author, Mentor, and Speaker on Marriage
Sandy Ralya is a national speaker, women’s mentor, and the author of The Beautiful Wife: Focused on Christ, Fulfilled in Marriage. But her marriage hasn’t always been easy. Or good.
Years ago, she walked into church each Sunday morning desperate for help. Her marriage was plagued by emotional abuse. However, she was afraid to ask. Everyone else’s marriage seemed so perfect. Sandy’s life appeared beautiful on the outside. A handsome hubby with a great job. Beautiful children. An amazing house sitting on a lush, green farm. Beautiful outside. But inside, a hideous mess.
Over time, she turned to God by reading the Bible and praying. Additionally, she sought guidance from trusted friends, godly mentors and wise Christian counselors. What she learned transformed her life and consequently her marriage.
Sandy Ralya’s Ministry Begins
The loving support that Sandy received from other women inspired her to become the founder and director of Beautiful Womanhood. Beautiful Womanhood is a Christian marriage mentoring ministry for wives, and the churches that seek to support them.
Since then, her marriage and mentoring testimony has been the focus of interviews on Family Life Today, Focus on the Family, Everyday Relationships, and First Magazine for Women.

On a Personal Note
Sandy Ralya and her husband, Tom, have been married since 1980 and live near Grand Rapids, Michigan. They have three adult children and a growing number of grandchildren. When not writing and speaking, she enjoys shopping at yard sales for vintage clothing, cooking, traveling, and drinking really good coffee, (black is best) with her husband.
